# Data Isolation and Protection

TURBO TEST employs Google Compute Engine virtual machines (VMs) to ensure the secure isolation of your data from other users. We also enforce stringent protocols for authentication, encryption, and various security measures to thwart unauthorised access to our systems.

# Trusting TURBO TEST with Your Data

In safeguarding your data, TURBO TEST has implemented multiple security measures:

  1. Your data is securely stored on our servers.
  2. All communication is encrypted for added protection.
  3. Access to our servers is meticulously controlled and subject to regular audits.
  4. Your code is never retained on our servers once a job is completed.
  5. We commit to maintaining the confidentiality of your code and refrain from accessing it ourselves. Your code will never be sold.

# Encryption

HTTPS or SSH is employed for all networking within and outside the service, including communication from the browser to the application, from the application to the VM fleet, from the VM fleet to the source control system, and other points of interaction.

# Data Sandboxing

TURBO TEST requires access to your code hosted on GitHub. All tasks on the platform run in an isolated environment (ephemeral Google Compute Engine VM) which is not connected to other test runs or accessible from the Internet or your local network. The service downloads code from Git using SSH. Once a test run has completed, the VM is destroyed.

All environment variables and secrets are encrypted at the database level, and are not accessible to TURBO TEST employees.

We perform regular rigorous security to ensure unauthorised parties can not accessing or observe your data.

# Log Retention

We retain metadata logs containing pertinent information about test runs, including the initiator, start time, duration, and selected hardware. This data is instrumental in assessing our business performance over time.

# Data Storage After Job Completion

TURBO TEST does not retain your code beyond the completion of a job.
